Ursinus offers an interdisciplinary minor that draws from many fields including education, psychology, history, and political science.
Sensory rooms are dedicated spaces within workplaces designed to support neurodivergent employees and others who may experience sensory overload, anxiety, or stress. Originally more common in schools, airports, and healthcare settings, these rooms are now being embraced by progressive companies as part of wellness initiatives.
Students visit the Institute for Student Success (ISS) to learn more about studying strategies, tutoring, and to find extra support as they navigate their college experience.
In partnership with the minor, students find opportunities and mentorship outside of the classroom, through the Office of Disability and Access.
Our latest interdisciplinary trains students to learn to recognize the systemic barriers that contribute to inequality, such as inaccessible environments, discriminatory policies, and social stigma.
