Students connect with external partners to refine their skills in designing and implementing impactful solutions to global humanistic challenges.
The heart of apex: Four Centers of innovation
In each hub or center, Ursinus students collaborate with faculty and professional advisors and mentors across disciplines to address global challenges such as climate change and sustainability, peace and conflict studies, social justice and advocacy, artificial intelligence and democracy, and more.
Through their work in these hubs and centers, students develop critical career competencies in design thinking, digital fluency, project management, and entrepreneurship alongside essential values of liberal education like responsibility, creativity, innovation, independence, and equity.
Our hubs and centers include:
- The Parlee Center for Science and the Common Good
- The Center for Humanities in Action (CHIA)
- The Sport and Humanity Hub
- The Hub for Civic and Global Leadership
