Experiential Learning Grant

APEX is included in tuition, housing, and food fees at Ursinus. However, Ursinus recognizes that some experiential learning opportunities come with additional costs. To address this, the college will offer the Experiential Learning Grant of up to $2,000 to help ensure equitable access for all students.

With 26 DIII teams, opportunities for hands-on experience in sports are plentiful – off the court! As a member of the Centennial Conference Digital Network, students manage the live video streaming and production from a studio in Ritter Hall.

Dr. Alyssa Tindall is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and holds a PhD in Nutritional Sciences and Clinical and Translational Science. The HEAT Lab is the newest research lab within Health Sciences.

what is an EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING GRANT?

All incoming first-year students who participated in Experiential Learning Week during their first two years will be eligible for up to $2,000 through the Experiential Learning Grant. This grant can be used to offset costs associated with Ursinus-affiliated and credit-bearing unpaid internships, externships, co-ops, study abroad programs, and mentored research. Students from the classes of 2029 and forward may apply for the grant through the Student Financial Services Office beginning in their sophomore year. An application will be available soon.

This foundation increases job placement and graduate school acceptance rates.
