Graduates are prepared to pursue careers in performing arts administration, music therapy, music technology, music business, and graduate research.
The Ursinus Music Department offers two distinct majors:
- Bachelor of Arts in Music
- Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology
Students can complete minors in music or music technology, participate in ensembles, and study applied music in private lessons. Prospective students can also explore the Creative and Performing Arts Scholarship.
Instrumentalists and vocalists will find a welcoming community in the department. Ursinus provides exciting opportunities to perform and tour, including visits and master classes with professional musicians. Students can express and develop their musical talents through various performances, from Rockefeller Center to a Philadelphia Phillies games.
