Neuroscience majors graduate with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree that prepares them for careers in academic, medical, biomedical, clinical, government, and pharmaceutical settings. Neuroscience majors often pursue graduate degrees in behavioral sciences, biology, biochemistry, cognitive science, experimental psychology, neuroanatomy, neurobiology, neuropharmacology, neuroscience, occupational therapy, physical therapy, toxicology, or medicine.
Research Roundup
Olivia Losurdo '25, Macey Hoffman '26, and Erin Dychdala' 26 presented their poster, “Differential Effects of tDCS on Frontal Lobe Function in Individuals With and Without Concussions”, at the 2025 World Congress on Traumatic Brain Injury in Montreal. This prestigious conference, hosted by the International Brain Injury Association, saw them join a select group of undergraduates qualifying to present their research. Their abstract will be published in Brain Injury, with a full paper currently in preparation for submission.
Students from Professor of Biology Ellen Dawley's lab attended the University of Scranton's Regional Brain and Behavior Conference, presenting their undergraduate research across a variety of topics in neuroscience and psychology.
