Candidates who wish to receive earlier notification of the admission decision, but are not ready to commit to Ursinus are encouraged to apply under our non-binding Early Action plan (EA).

EA candidates will be considered for all available scholarships.

EA candidates will receive a decision on their application in mid-December.

EA candidates are not required to enroll until the national candidate reply date of May 1.

Deadline ED 1: December 1
If Ursinus is your clear first choice, you can apply under the binding Early Decision plan (ED). When you apply ED, you are committing to attend Ursinus if you are offered admission. You will receive a decision on a rolling basis. Once admitted, you must withdraw your applications from other colleges and universities to which you have applied.

ED candidates will be considered for all available scholarships. The deadline to apply for financial aid is within two weeks of submitting your early decision application.

If applying for financial aid, you will receive your financial aid package approximately two weeks after being admitted ED.

Merit Pre-Read for ED Applicants
Students considering applying Early Decision, for whom scholarship would be an essential part of that decision, qualify for a merit pre-read. To receive an estimate of your Ursinus merit scholarship award, please submit the merit pre-read request by Friday, November 20.

Deadline ED 2: February 1
If Ursinus is your clear first choice, you can apply under the binding Early Decision plan (ED). When you apply ED, you are committing to attend Ursinus if you are offered admission. Merit Pre-Read for ED Applicants
Students considering applying Early Decision, for whom scholarship would be an essential part of that decision, qualify for a merit pre-read. To receive an estimate of your Ursinus merit scholarship award, please submit the merit pre-read request by Friday, January 22.

Deadline: February 1

Applications for fall 2026, from highly qualified applicants, are still being accepted.

Regular Decision applicants who apply by the February 15 deadline will receive an admission decision by mid-March. Highly qualified Regular Decision applicants may be released on a rolling basis (January, February and March). Applications may be accepted after the deadline, as space allows.

**Please note that there are separate application procedures for transfer and international applicants.

First year students who wish to enroll for the spring semester should apply by December 1 and indicate a January start term on their application. 

Ursinus welcomes well-qualified transfer applications. The application deadline for fall enrollment is August 15, and the spring semester deadline is January 12. Apply for free using our Ursinus Transfer Application or the Common Application. Prospective transfers will receive a decision from the college on a rolling basis.
