In order for your application to be considered complete we require the following:
- Official high school transcripts
- Secondary School Report and recommendation from guidance counselor
- Personal essay
- Home schooled students and students who attend schools that provide narrative comments in lieu of grades are required to provide detailed information about the depth of their curriculum, including reading lists. Standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) are optional. An interview with an admission counselor is highly encouraged but not required. Find your admission counselor.
Financial Aid & Scholarships
No separate application is required for Ursinus College merit scholarship eligibility. Merit awards are based on the academic strength of applicants and determined by the Admission Office. All admitted students will receive at least $35,000 in merit awards, with top scholarships of up to full tuition.
Applications for need-based financial aid, including grants, loans, and work study, must be completed at the time you apply.
Ursinus requires you to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), to determine your full eligibility for need-based aid. The 2026-2027 FAFSA is expected to open October 2025.
