An HRA is an employer funded plan that pays for eligible expenses in coordination with a medical health plan such as Meritain / Aetna.
Ursinus College is pleased to continue using The Harrison Group as our “Health Reimbursement Arrangement” (HRA) administrator and Health Savings Account (HSA) administrator.
What is a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)?
An HRA is an employer funded plan that pays for eligible expenses in coordination with a medical health plan such as Meritain / Aetna.
- Your HRA will reimburse expenses applied towards your In-Network deductible on the Bronze or Silver HPDP.
- Single Coverage: You will be responsible for the FIRST $2,500 of your deductible. Once you have satisfied the first $2,500 of your deductible, the HRA will reimburse you up to the amounts below for the SECOND portion of your deductible.
- Dependent/Family Coverage: You will be responsible for the FIRST $5,000 of your deductible. Once you have satisfied the first $5,000 of your deductible, the HRA will reimburse you up to the amounts below for the SECOND portion of your deductible.
- To activate the HRA you must send the Activation form and a copy of your Meritain Explanation of Benefits (EOB) showing that you have reached the first portion of your deductible.
- The HRA plan runs from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
- You will receive a smart card that works for both the HRA and HSA

You will have up to 90 days after June 30, 2027 to submit these “runout” claims.
